Learning Methodology

From the perspective of the learners, this workshop covers all three aspects of Knowledge, Skills & Attitudes (or Mindset) enhancement.
We adopt a multi-modal learning methodology to optimise learning, such as:

Lecture/Presentation: This will be the basic mode for providing overviews, consolidating knowledge, giving instructions and debriefing.

Learning by Discovery: Instead of the conventional delivery of content via lecture/presentation, learners will discover new knowledge through the resources made available before and during the workshop. Coupled with group work, it has the advantage of making the learning relevant.

Learning by Doing: This will involve learners working in groups on exercises so that they can have deeper appreciation of facilitative approaches and gain confidence in applying them after the workshop.

Group Learning : Since the learners for this programme are likely to come from different organisations, there is much for them to learn from one another, especially in relation to the way facilitative training is practised in the different organisations.

Reflective Learning: This will raise the awareness of the learners about themselves as trainers, integrating what they have learnt and connecting what they have learnt at the emotional level.
