With sadness, we share that Harrison Owen left this world on March 16th.
Author, consultant and photographer, Harrison has had an indelible impact in the field of facilitation. As the originator of Open Space Technology, he proposed a new paradigm of group facilitation, offering a new way of looking at how systems and groups work together.
He was a man of profound wisdom and empathy. He had a rare gift for bringing people together, fostering meaningful dialogue, and nurturing a sense of community wherever he went. His genuine care for others and his unwavering commitment to making a difference earned him the respect and admiration of all who crossed his path.
Harrison was deeply loved and cherished by his family, friends, and colleagues. His kindness, generosity, and infectious enthusiasm touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
Harrison’s passing leaves a void in the world of facilitation and in the hearts of all who knew him. His wisdom and spirit will continue to inspire facilitators worldwide.
