🎉 Games and fun are always fantastic ways to enhance our learning! 🎮🧩

I had a wonderful morning engaging in a stimulating game session with a group of seasoned trainers and facilitators. 🤝🎓

It’s incredible how a shared experience like this can spark new insights and bring a fresh perspective.

The 2030 SDGs Game is an engaging, experiential workshop designed to simulate the potential future scenarios for our world in 2030. 🌍♻️

The game beautifully highlights the importance of striking a balance between the three pillars of sustainability: People, Planet, and Profits.

💡 Here are some of my key takeaways:
👉 Gained a deeper appreciation of the mindsets and actions needed to drive sustainability. 🌱
👉 Through gameplay, experienced what it takes to create a balanced world and explored the interconnections of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 🌐
👉 Interconnected nature of global issues — everything is truly linked! 🌏
👉 Impact of individual and collective actions in contributing to a more sustainable future. 🌟

🌟A big thank you to Facilitators Network Singapore for organizing this meaningful session and to Greg Kalabekov, MSc Psy for facilitating such an engaging workshop! 🙌👏

Finally took a stab at the 2030 SDGs Game!

It was a really engaging and experiential session that reinforced:

#1 - importance of leadership, which starts from the self and extends to all in the group to go beyond our self interests and silo goals/projects and support everyone towards the overall objectives

#2 - systems thinking - every action involves trade-offs, some immediately visible; others not so obvious but could be moving others a few steps back; therefore it was critical to understand why one took a certain action, not simply just to complete all the actions on hand

#3 - importance of communication, asking the right questions, linking the right people up, going beyond the immediate asks and dig deeper to collaborate towards a win-win situation

My heartfelt thanks to Greg Kalabekov, MSc Psy and Karamjit for facilitating this CoP for us! It was truly enjoyable! Many thanks to Facilitators Network Singapore, Prabu Naidu Janice Lua, CMF, CPF-Emeritus for organising the CoPs for us, they never fail to impress! 🙂

My heartfelt thanks to Sasi Kumar & Phil for facilitating a really fun session on Design Thinking and Lego Serious Play. Gained a better understanding of both tools and how LSP can be used to achieve greater granularity in the divergent phases of design thinking, such as empathising user needs or developing possible solutions! I especially liked the part when had the Lego models of the user’s needs and eventual prototypes lined up side by side to see the gaps in our proposals and assumptions made, was really an eye opening experience!

Thanks to Facilitators Network Singapore, Prabu Naidu & Janice Lua, CMF, CPF-Emeritus for organising!
